A Spanish Beach Wedding

We were delighted to be hired to dress a lovely Spanish Beach Restaurant, Aqui Te Quiero Ver, for a wedding at the end of July. After some deliberation on the colour scheme the bride opted for a lovely idea of using the pink bouganvilla with a fabulous plumbago lilac.

We had table runners made up, used stargazers to add in that wow factor and the smell, scattered pink bouganvilla on the tables and decorated the posts with small sprigs of it.

The ceiling on the terrace and indoors was decorated with white lanterns to create a truly magical effect as the sun started to set. Ok so my small Pentax is not doing the trick, I was delighted when Carlos sent me this pro photo of the Moroccan Night, more to come! Here you can see how amazing this evening was for the Chopard Gala Night. We do really need a before and after shot though as this is a white beach bar!

Perfect Wedding Expo Fuengirola November 2009

We are delighted to be exhibiting at the Perfect Wedding Expo in the Palacio de la Paz in Fuengirola on the 14th and 15th of November 2009. A real initiative bringing together all the wedding industry related suppliers based here on the Costa Del Sol, who are English speaking and cater for a huge amount of weddings that come in from the UK, US and Ireland.

Well worth a visit if you are planning to hold your wedding here in Spain.

We are all very excited by this exhibiton and hope to see many brides planning their weddings here on the Costa Del Sol here in November, flights are cheap!

Wedding at La Finca de la Concepcion

We were delighted to be involved in the decoration of this wedding organised by the lovely Heather at Fiestasol. There was a lot of thought and planning that went into this wedding. I met the bride last year in October, on my birthday and it was also her's! She had an inspiration board to show me which was lovely with all her ideas and dreams to create the perfect day.

Gradually we put ideas together and ummed and arrrhhh over all the details. The end result a fabulous day, fabulous flowers, and all the details that made this wedding truly special.

I have since had a lovely email "Thank you for all your help on our wedding day, we had a wonderful day and the venue looked lovely, the flowers were beautiful just what I had imagined". Our thanks yet again to Jeremy Standley for supplying us with fabulous photos!

Beautiful wedding in Private Villa in Benahavis

We were delighted to be involved in the decoration of a beautiful wedding in a private villa (that I want to live in!) in Benahavis organised by Sue at Spanish Dream Weddings.

Eventful though, the next day we had gone to clear down this wedding and popped into see Jeremy for a cup of tea, when there was a nasty crash outside his apartment, having spent an hour helping out the the aftermath, we arrived at the villa to melting candles! C'est la vie!

Chopard Moroccan Party at Marbella Club

Hot or what!

Here we are decorating the Marbella Club's Chiringuito for the Chopard Jewellery Morrocan Night.

Just when we thought we were going to have a quiet August, the phone starts ringing!

Carlos from Lipara Productions needed our help with putting this amazing Moroccan party together, not only completely covering the chiringuito with fabrics but needed a stylist on board for the day plus our team to complete this party within 4 hours, by the time our team had finished it looked amazing. We were thrilled and the decorations Carlos and his wife has supplied for us to use were really something else. A huge effort and we have to go back tonight to clear down so drinking lots of coffee! x
