The Enchanted Fairy Garden Party

How excited was I when I found these fabulous photos on Mark's blog Cake Marbella.

Having begged Mark to let me post these wonderful images, I found I was already watching this blog on my blog roll and lo and behold the photos came up again!

I was delighted to see it was the Marbella Mummies, Katrina and Nicola who run 'Fiesta Fiesta' which organises original, fun and creative parties to suit all ages and all budgets.

We love the creativity that went into this party and Mark your cupcakes look to die for :) When are we going to get our samples?!

Olive Green Wedding at La Finca de Cortesin

The wedding that nearly did not happen.
Liv and Chris were one of the wedding casualty's from the sad closure of Los Monteros. Liv was almost at the verge of throwing the towel in but with many supportive emails from us and a quick weekend visit she found the fabulous Finca de Cortesin, the most beautiful venue.
All was quickly rearranged and with the support of Alicia at the Finca and Carla, our new team member, being so wonderfully organised, and providing a first class wedding
co-ordination, ensured a smooth running and perfect day.
A beautiful colour scheme of olive and white, simply decorated with cala lilies and olive sashes, many candles, lanterns bags and lanterns around the pool created a stunning setting.

Liv and Chris had their own photographer, so again much nagging when they return back from their honeymoon for some more photos rather than our snapshots!

Lime green and white daisies in Marbella

As our wedding season is well and truly underway, we will keep posting our weddings we have designed and created.
Here is a fabulous wedding we did in June, in a private villa in Marbella using a daisy theme with lime green and whites. It started early so was rather hot, but the guests soon recovered once the bar was opened!
We loved our chill out zone with our Bali umbrellas and Natalie was such a creative bride to work with, hiring in haystacks, making her own table cards which we hung from trees, and the fabulous keyrings made by her family as favours for her guests.
There were lots of lovely details and touches to make this wedding extra special, from our heart shaped chalk board hanging on the gate, which reminds me, it must still be there! daisy bubbles and our birdcage wishing well.
This wedding came to life though, at night, as it was the garden of lanterns and candles later, truly magical.
Jeremy came back to do some more photos in the dark so will continue to be the bane of his life and nag him for some more night shots, in the meantime check out Jeremy's beautiful slide show of this wonderful wedding and thank you Jeremy for recording our work with such wonderful images.

Birdcages for wedding centrepieces

Here are some lovely images sent to us by one of our brides in Granada who hired our birdcages for her wedding centrepieces in May, obviously a truly beautiful wedding and we are impressed as to how they were decorated.
I have suggested this centrepiece for a wedding at Tamisa Golf Hotel, I was there as well today! At this venue they are not allowed candles so perhaps a lovely birdcage like this with battery operated fairy lights inside to create a romantic table centrepiece could be the way forward!?

Emails and cards from our lovely brides, thank you!

We received a lovely card this week from our Don Carlos wedding.
'Dear Laura
Thank you so much for the beautiful decoration at our wedding. It was truly stunning! We had the best day of our lives and we'll be forever grateful to you'
An email from our Finca de La Concepcion wedding
'Thank you for all your help with our wedding day, we had a wonderful day and the venue looked lovely'

Our Wedding Season is underway!

Whilst we have only published a few of our weddings, we have been extremely busy as the wedding season here in Spain is truly underway.
We have created and decorated many weddings over the past few weeks and are looking forward to publishing them as and when we receive the images from the flat out wedding photographers!
Including our weddings in Finca de La Concepcion, Incosol Hotel, Taberna del Albadero, El Oceano Hotel, some beautiful private villas, Villa Padierna, many more to come!
This weekend we will be creating a lovely pastel wedding at Marbella Golf, a fabulous brightly coloured wedding with a wonderful candy bar at the Guadalmina and an olive themed wedding at the Finca de la Cortesin. Next weekend back up to La Posada and after a short respite in August we will be back with many more in September including Nikki Beach, Villa Padierna, Puente Romano and many more.

Elegant Marbella Club Wedding

What a fabulous venue, The Marbella Club, such a wonderful setting and so beautifully Marbella. It does remind me of when I was little and we used to be taken to the Marbella Club by my parents for a swim and cocktails! Those were the days!
We were delighted to be involved in this elegant wedding on Sunday by adding in the all important details such as fans, napkins, table plans and name tags.

We have since heard a fabulous time was had by all and the venue were superb, good food, excellent service and truly brilliant.

Amazing Wedding in Antequera

The 3rd of July was one date in our yearly calendar we were certainly looking forward to,
a most unusual wedding with two ceremonies, starting off with a catholic wedding at the church in Antequera and then followed by a Zoroastrian ceremony at the fabulous setting La Posada Del Torcal all organised by a very calm and efficient Jenny!
It was an amazingly beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed being involved, creating the flowers and decorations. There was some beautiful touches and details including chalk drawings on the patios, message cards, the fab letters for the trees designed and created by the Hentastiques! Don't ask!:)
Here are some of our snapshots of this amazing wedding but of course we will await the fabulous work of Jeremy to put us to shame! x
