An Indian Wedding in Malaga by Reviva Part 2

We are delighted to share Part 2 of Karin and Rishad´s fabulous wedding held here in Malaga just in time for the weekend.  Following on from a fun filled pre-wedding party the actual wedding day arrived greeted by a gorgeously hot summer day in Malaga with cloudless blue skies.

When you thought a party could get no better, it did!

The celebrations began with the ceremony on the patio of the Hacienda La Biznaga held under a beautiful white canopy to keep the guests shaded from the hot August Spanish sunshine.  Refreshing lemonades and waters were given to each guest as they arrived and a paddle fan with the Order of Service, beautifully designed by Nulkinulks, was placed on each chair.

The ceremony was followed by a cocktail including an ice cream van to help keep the guests cool and the Hacienda La Biznaga provided lots of delicious canapes.

All the table seating plans were hanging from the courtyard lanterns and created a beautiful magical effect as they were designed as circular hanging garlands which I had seen on a previous photoshoot by Nulkinulks and wanted to use for Karin´s wedding as I knew she loved hanging garlands and flowers.  The menu was handwritten by Isabel onto a large blackboard in gold and purples, which is always a fabulous idea to save printing menus for every place setting for a larger wedding party.

Dinner followed inside the Hacienda where we designed a more contemporary Sex in the City theme using a gold and purple colour scheme for the wow factor.
The venue was washed in purple lighting and tall glass cylinders topped with purple and white orchid arrangements bought the room to life.   We used gold chairs to pull the colours together and each napkin was tied with a purple ribbon.

The party well and truly got underway with music and lighting from Nigel at Chez Vous and a delicious cake designed by Sweet Things By Fi along with some gold glitter dusted fortune cookies, of which I did not steal one :)

We would like to thank all the suppliers who were involved with this wedding and Dan at Chennergy Photography for these photos allowing us to share this fantastic wedding with you.
