Botanical Style, Easter Inspiration

I have many blogs and websites I adore and this time of year I relish in actually having the time to study, read and pore over these delightful inspirations.

The Brand Stylist is one of them, I love her simple style and attention to details and would love to attend one of her courses as they seem so well thought through and put together.

As the Botanical style is hugely popular I thought I would share some of the images from this gorgeous website as there is a whole host of lovely Easter floral inspiration which conveys the botanical style that is creeping into wedding and event styling for 2016.

Combinations of the new style copper wire lights, simple glass geometric shapes and the eclectic mix of urban meets nature is a brilliant way of decorating and styling your wedding.

Think brickwork, wooden tables, ferns, in season plants, living twigs and leaves, less florals and more focus placed on glass, structures and simple textures.

As wedding stylists we love these ideas, one of my favourite looks for our Spanish weddings is a simple white napkin adorned with an olive sprig, it encompasses everything Spanish, such a clean statement when your guests arrive at their tables and so simple it is utterly charming.

As detailed focused stylists, our role in your wedding is to design the visual aspects of your wedding, by putting together your personal tastes and our distinct eye for beauty.

Our approach is to inspire, excite and guide you along the way so you enjoy planning your wedding. From arranging the composition of your table settings to dreaming up beautiful displays for your favours, our aim is to create lasting memories you and your guests remember for years to come.

We specialise in handmade, sourced and collected unique detailing and dedicate ourselves to your wedding as if it were our own.

I hope you enjoy this Easter inspiration as much as we do.

Happy Easter!

Summer arrived early this year with temperatures hitting 37 degrees yesterday in Seville!

This weekend we are closing our offices for a few days and we are also very excited to welcome our Easter weekend wedding to Spain.

It is going to be a weekend of beautiful blue skies and sunny days as our clients celebrate their marriage overlooking the Mediterranean.

We would like to wish all our clients, suppliers and friends a very Happy Easter and hope you get lots of chocolate :)

Pretty Pastel Inspirations

Here in Spain spring arrived finally a few weeks ago and then disappeared again?!

After a gloriously warm week of Mediterranean spring sunshine the Spanish weather turned back into a rather gloomy, wet and windy week but finally I think we will be able to welcome the spring just in time for Easter.

Mimosa trees are becoming heavily laden with their fluffy bright yellow blooms which always remind me of those cute Easter chicks decorations and we have wild baby irises popping up which are one of my favourite flowers.

With all these beautiful colours taking hold as spring and Easter arrive we thought we would share some pastel inspirations and prettiness with you.

All images were found on Pinterest and Burnett's Boards.

Easter Fun

As Easter comes bouncing towards me at a rapidly alarming rate I have to admit I was hugely unorganised and even did not realise that Twinks was on her school holidays, it came so quickly!  The joys of being a working and hugely busy mother!

But we are muddling through painting eggs, colouring Easter egg pictures and generally creating decorations and buying fluffy bunnies to get into the spirit of the holiday weekend!  I now have a beautifully decorated fireplace full of her already existing planets and stars and now including fluffy chicks and rabbits :)  It really is quite creative and very cute!

We had to share this fabulous blog with you as Jayne creates her Easter crafts, I am a huge admirer of hers and I love her ideas as she approaches everything with such a fresh eye and it is always beautifully photographed.

I have decided my next new year resolution is to be able to photograph our work beautifully as we are always busy here creating fabulous things for our parties and weddings, if only I knew a photographer to point me in the right direction ;)!

It has been a sad week for me again losing some lovely people including my dear uncle so I am dedicating this blog post to him and his family and my dear friend who also lost her father.  My thoughts are always with others and whilst many of us are having happy times there are many having very sad times.

Stylist Stalking :)

One of my favourite stylists is Selina Lake, I was first introduced to her work via my sister, who works for Ryland Peters and Small. My sister brings me the most beautiful books when she visits, for me to study and do lots of oohs and ahhs :) One of my favourite recent books was one styled by Selina called Bazaar style.
My coveted books are studied from page to page for me personally to use as decoration ideas for my own home and of course inspirations for our weddings.
I love this inspiration board, it is filled with divine colours, I know my two older daughters love this style as their bedrooms are decorated in these colours. LIttle Twinks is still lurid pink and princesses at the moment but we are working on her!
Again we are moving away from the very pale washed out tones of the vintage that has been so popular and moving to slightly bolder sorbet colours to brighten everything up slightly just in time for the Spring weddings.

I am just dying to know where that last photo of the pastel coloured fairground ride came from, in fact I am desperate to do a fairground themed wedding after seeing the fabulously glorious one on Preston Bailey's website, you must go and check this amazing wedding out, it is jaw dropping!

I was toying with feria ideas last week for events and weddings here :) A seed was sown which is always dangerous!

Soft Romantic Inspiration Board

I realised tonight I had lots of lovely photos hoarded in my blog file here which were all soft romantic images, so I have just made up a quick mood board of them all to share with you.
I will have to add the credits in the morning for all the talented people I have been stalking but slightly tired now and off to bed :)!

Spring pastels and ribbons

We love this spring pastel wedding found on Ritzy Bee typepad, with such cute and dainty accessories and all the wonderful details that for me, personally, make a wedding or party truly individual.
From the pastel bunting to the beautifully created cakes, the bubbles for the flower girls and the note cards, I am in heaven :)!

Easter decorations

Top Row Easter wreath lillian vernon, bridesmaids & cake The Knot, Tulips MS
2nd Row Lanterns and table MS, Marshmallows oswegotea, blossom walkway
3rd Row Easter table confetti.co.uk daisy cupcakes random house, easter egg wreath lillian vernon

The Spanish Santa Semana processions get underway this week, they are very spectacular processions and can be quite frightening, I remember watching them as a small child and being scared of the hooded men! Here is something I prefer about Easter, albeit not the real meaning, all the lovely decorations available and of course chocolate:)

A wonderful spring theme for weddings with the pastel colours and of course an excuse to use marshmallows in your decorations or as favours :)
