Gorgeous Vintage Spanish Wedding Stationery Design

Andalusia

Berry Sorbet

Here at Reviva as we are busy planning, designing and getting organised for our fabulous weddings this year, we thought we would share some of our latest vintage Spanish designs with you.

Sarah, one of our delightful brides from last year and now a personal friend, has finally thrown the towel in on her regular job, jumped off that cliff and is collaborating with us to create some gorgeous designs for our weddings.

I so love chatting to Sarah and sharing design inspirations with her, she is truly an amazingly talented person and for me personally it is wonderful to work with someone who has this designer artistic brain that I can relate to and bounce ideas off.

Her infectious enthusiasm is delightful and her eye for detail astounds me, it is a breath of fresh air.

We keep squeaking with delight when we receive her beautiful colour inspiration boards and new stationery designs for our clients, it is a very exciting time, a lot of fun and Sarah is jaw droppingly amazing, if there is such a word!

We cannot wait to showcase our designs for this coming year and are thrilled to have Sarah on board and supporting her in her new venture as she designs and creates some fabulous stationery, signs and all sorts of gorgeous things for our weddings.

If you have fallen in love, as I did last year, with Sarah´s Spanish vintage designs please do contact us for more information on info@reviva-weddings.com

We will also be sharing Sarah´s designs as she creates them for us and for her business so do keep checking back or like us on Facebook to keep up to date with our latest design trends and news.

Lemon Wedding at Zagaleta Casa Club, Spain

Earlier this year we were contacted by a charming couple who were organising their wedding here at the Zagaleta Casa Club and we were delighted to be hired not only to decorate the wedding with this fabulous zesty lemon theme but also as their planners and coordinators for their day here.

As they live in Dubai they felt they needed someone on the ground here that they could work easily with and that they could trust.

We have not shown actual people here as it was a private family wedding but we are delighted to share some of the fabulous details of this wedding to share and inspire you if you are planning a lemon themed wedding.

The bride is a designer and created some delightful designs for the stationery which really made this wedding fun, from the pretty confetti bags and Order of Service to the rather novel wedding colouring books which I thought were a fabulous idea!

The favours were all lemon themed with lemon sherbets for the girls and lemoncello in cute bottles for the men.  There were a lot of ideas bounced around and the final details that went into this wedding were created by our bride and her sister.

Our piece de resistance at this wedding was our coconut shy which was organised as a surprise for the groom!  I loved creating this, we had the stands made earlier this year by a local ironmonger and as the wedding was a zesty lemon, blues and a soft grey theme I created a grey striped backdrop and decided to use haystacks to create an area to give it more form and create that country fairground feel to it.

Behind it we hung our bare lightbulbs to give even more of a fairground feel and I think the final result was very pretty.   Anoulka, my design assistant extraordinaire even tied lemon and grey ribbons to the coconut posts which finished it off beautifully.

There were certainly no coconuts left the next day or any wooden balls, so can assume a good time was had by all and we do laugh as apparently the local stags and deer had eaten two of the haystacks within 3 days, so I could not return them to the hirers?!  At least we have happy animals unless they were the ones that ate the wooden balls!

The rest of the decor was kept simple as it is such a stunning setting so along with the lemon and ivory bridal bouquets we created table centrepieces using lots of candles in glassware to give more light, zingy yellow florals along with fresh lemons.

Fi created this gorgeous wedding cake, also inspired by our bride and the final result was a stylish and fun day in a glorious setting with perfect Spanish weather.

Our thanks to Anna Gazda for sharing these gorgeous photos with us.

Sunflowers in Seville Wedding

Wedding season here in Spain is now truly underway with May and June being incredibly popular months here to get married.

We have been working with our wonderful clients from all over the world to help them create their dream wedding day here in Spain.  After months of planning, designing and emails it is very exciting to see all the hard work come together to create a beautiful day.

Here is a sneak peek of our wedding in Sunflower land last weekend!

As we drove up to Seville to the Hacienda San Rafael to spend the weekend with Amanda and Derrick we were overwhelmed with the sight of field after field of sunflowers, it was an amazing sight.  I have to admit after months of designing this wedding my brain was instantly in overdrive as we approached the venue that we had to include this amazing sight into the wedding as well.  It would have been a shame not to!

Luck has it the wedding styling was already a vibrant lemon yellow combined with the turquoise touches and of course the stunning pinks everywhere with the bouganvilla venue, you cannot fight this colour as it grows everywhere at the Hacienda and is a stunning Andalucian colour to add to your wedding details.

We created so many details at this wedding, from the brilliant chalkboard signs created by Izzi, the paddle fans and order of service created by Anoulka, our dressing up box for the photo booth, games on the lawn for the cocktail by the pool.

The whole wedding was beautiful, from the yellow parasols at the ceremony with the wooden chairs and the gorgeous centrepieces and I think the finale had to be the divine cake from Sweet Things by Fi, it was the star of the show!

Our thanks to Amanda and Derrick for booking us and having faith in us planning their destination wedding on email, to Anna Gazda for her beautiful photography, Anthony and his amazing staff at the Hacienda San Rafael that looked after us so well, Carla and Paloma who I think are probably the best planning team here in Spain :) Anoulka and Izzi for their hugely creative input and details, Fi for her beautiful cake, macarons and cookies (yes I managed to steal one!) and to Rob who ensured the wedding partied well and truly into the early hours of the morning!

More photos to come of this stunning wedding and all the other weddings we are currently working on.  We are off up to Seville again this weekend for a very different Sevillian styled wedding with a very Spanish theme :)

Do check back as we update our blog but for more up to date news of our weddings and parties like our facebook page.

More Delightful Details of our Flamenco Styled Wedding

Last night we shared this fabulous Flamenco styled wedding with you and here are some more of the wonderful details we created to style this wedding.

The bridal bouquet was actually a last minute order as Anna had wanted a fan but when we arrived with it she changed her mind, we had to be honest expected this so had plan b up our sleeves! Sometimes this does happen if a bride sees something but in reality it does not work. We knew Anna liked stargazer lilies so created a red rose and stargazer bouquet and the bridesmaid was in ivory roses with red alstromeria. Andrew´s buttonhole was a red rose to match Anna´s bouquet.

We created personalised fans decorated with a thin black ribbon and a paper red rose detail, always useful to keep the guests cool at the ceremonies here in Spain and styled the wedding stationery in fan shapes using the black damask detail and red rose theme.

The table seating fan shaped cards were hung in the courtyard and the menu cards were created to match.

The table linens were our black and white damask style linens and worked beautifully with the white chiavari chairs.

The centrepieces were storm lanterns with white candles and red sand and we sprinkled some red rose petals in, the principle table also had a gorgeous floral display surrounding the storm lantern and we finished off the tables using red tealights and spanish ceramic tiles for the table numbers.

We thoroughly enjoyed creating this wedding and are thrilled with the results and would like to congratulate Anna and Andrew on their beautiful wedding day and for allowing us to put our creative hats on!

Our thanks again to Andreas Holm´s for sharing these photographs with us and as I always say without these wonderful suppliers we work with we could never create such fabulous weddings or show them to you :)
