Springtime Wedding in Seville City

I cannot quite believe we are now well and truly into October after what has been a fabulously busy and hot summer.

I love this time of year, not only because it is my birthday month!, but now we can spend time looking back at our work, enjoying all the photos sent to us from the hugely talented photographers we work with and can share very special days and memories with you.

Heading back now to the gorgeous month of May, before our rather extreme heatwave took a grip on Spain this summer, we spent most of this month in the vibrant city of Seville.  In fact I was even beginning to search the real estate agents and thinking of buying a crash pad there!

Who cannot love this city, the capital of Andalucia, a hotbed of flamenco, passion and tapas bars, stunning architecture and one of the most beloved places here in Spain so where better to host a wedding!

K and K contacted us as they wished to host their intimate wedding in Seville with close family and friends.  With a Spanish family already here and the rest of their guests travelling with them from the States, Seville was the perfect location for everyone to make the journey to celebrate their marriage.

Casa Guardiola is a stunning palace house located just opposite the Alfonso XIII hotel and was the ideal location for K and K's wedding celebrations.

The afternoon started with a lovely ceremony in the garden room followed by a longer than usual cocktail in the Patio de Caballos where the guests were entertained with a jazz band, jamon cutter and a wonderful cheese table.

Dinner followed in the stunning Patio de Columnas with some lovely touches organised by the family as a surprise for the newly weds such as a wonderful video and some beautiful favours of chocolate and photo frames for each guest.

Whilst K and K wish to remain private we had to share such a stunning location with you and some of the details of their gorgeous day of which we have very fond memories.

Thank you to Joseba and Mar from Romance Weddings for, yet again, taking such lovely images of such a beautiful day and thank you to my team, especially Isabel, for working so hard to create yet another stunning wedding and dashing around the city to buy cake stands!

Laughter at La Cabane, Los Monteros Hotel

Here we are still sharing our fabulous weddings from 2014 with you as we chase the photos in!

I don't think I have ever seen so many photos from one wedding so full of smiles and laughter throughout the entire day :)

When we first met Suzie and Barry we knew their wedding day would be one big party, they were such a sociable, warm and pleasant couple and their parents were all great friends so we could see this was going to be a fabulously fun filled day with a family that loved life and loved celebrating!

Suzie and Barry held their wedding ceremony at the Encarnacion church then transported their guests to the stunning La Cabane Beach Club at Los Monteros hotel for a fabulous wedding reception.

The evening started off with Masquerade, during the dinner, making sure it was going to be a lively evening and they had an amazing fireworks display followed by dancing into the early hours of the morning.

The next day the festivities continued on the beach offering plenty of hangover food and drinks along with some more wonderful entertainment including the Brazilian drummers and dancers.

Our congratulations to Suzie and Barry and our thanks to all the wonderful suppliers involved in creating such a fun filled few days.

A Beautiful Blush and Mint Wedding at Villa Padierna Hotel

Nothing quite beats the elegance of the Villa Padierna Hotel and for our avid followers you may recall one of our previous weddings at this gorgeous hotel was featured in Style Me Pretty so a wedding combined with this beautiful venue and the stunning Encarnacion Church in Marbella is always going to be a fabulous affair!

Eva and David live in Australia but chose to host their wedding here in Marbella as it is such a great central location for family and friends to travel to from all over the world including Ireland and London with supposedly almost guaranteed sunshine.

Our famous Mediterranean sun did not show up sadly and was replaced by rain, a hailstorm, lightening and thunder, but I have to admit I loved the more atmospheric feel to the day listening to the thunder whilst working on the flowers in the church.

Nothing was going to dampen the mood for this gorgeous wedding and brollies were quickly found for everyone at the church.  A beautiful ceremony took place and eventually true to Spain the sun came out again later in the evening and a fabulous party was underway.

We loved the colour combination using a mint green and blush scheme with chevron details and golds and created some beautiful Spanish vintage style stationery to compliment the design from the Save the Dates to the Order of Service booklets, gorgeous flowers and lots of delightful details from gold charger plates to personalised placecards tied to each napkin with mint ribbons, table names set into gold vintage style frames and this fabulous dessert and chocolate treat table.

The icing on the cake, excuse the pun, had to be this fabulous creation from Sweet Things By Fi with the chevron pattern and such beautiful sugar flowers.   We have now stolen this cake design and have it in our shop as we love it so much!

Our thanks to all the suppliers who worked with us at this gorgeous wedding and to Nani De Perez for sharing these beautiful photos.

Our congratulations to Eva and David and cannot believe it is now over two months since your wedding day!
