Stalker or Impersonator?

Should I be flattered, but sadly am horrified as my daughter has just found this blog that is blatantly copying all my posts, both personal and to do with decorations, events, etc here in Marbella, plus all our weddings on their blog and not a mention of us.
I actually find this quite spooky and am so unhappy I have just reported this to Google.
I hope my stalker copies and posts this on their blog, I think not somehow
Check out the similarities!
Has anyone else had this happen to them, I think it is awful?

Pink Shoes!

I just had to post this as I want them!
Aren't they just delightful, given I clomp about currently in waterproof boots and in the summer flip flops I doubt whether I could walk in them, but does not stop a girl dreaming!

Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland theme

Isn't it strange, last year we were looking at the Alice in Wonderland theme for parties and weddings with the fun elements of 'eat me' and 'drink me', the tea party set up and slightly quirky ideas you could incorporate into this theme.
Now with the much anticipated Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland just about to hit our screens, some fabulous ideas are popping up on the blogs we watch and love.
I found these posts on Green Wedding Shoes and the Wedding Chicks of an Alice in Wonderland styled shoot for a bridal shower and it is fabulous. Cannot wait to see this film!

Wedding World update in Marbella!

It is always refreshing to see new and existing businesses expand, particularly with that 'recession' word hanging above our heads.
But alongside our recent shop launch, there have been some other businesses we work alongside that have also kick started 2010 off with a bang.
We are delighted that Jeremy Standley has now moved premises and has his photography studio up and running. These fabulous shots of one of our spring bouquets were taken in Jeremy's new studio and we are thrilled with the results. We took little Twinkle to Jeremy's new studio last week for photographs and we are dying to see the results and by the way Jeremy does a fab cappucino! We have yet to sample the cava :)

The photos of our spring bouquet were taken for inclusion in the extremely well produced new Confeti Magazine.
The Confeti magazine has taken the wedding world here in Southern Spain by storm, it is beautifully produced and well worth any potential brides snatching their coveted copy!
It is full of the latest wedding fashions, professionals tips, plus a huge amount of valuable information for any brides to be, particularly if you are getting married here in Marbella and beyond. The second quarterly issue has just come out this week and again is buzzing weddings.
Heather at Fiestasol has now launched her fabulous new website, full of ideas for weddings in private villas and her wonderful catering business. Having sampled quite a few of Heather and Alex's canapes and chocolate cake recently I can certainly vouch for yummy food!
As we all look forward to our summer wedding season, we are delighted to showcase Spain as one of the top wedding destination areas and despite the doom and gloom we are busily working away here to create many more fabulous, beautiful weddings for our clients and are all excited about our coming year ahead.

A Spanish Affair

It is wonderful to get so much inspiration from such creative people and the hugely talented Lisa Vorce from Oh so charming wins hands down yet again with this vibrant and passionate theme, completely evocative of Spain, flamenco and tapas.
I was sent this by one of my new clients, they are planning their intimate wedding in Ronda here in the summer and I am expecting this to be a lot of fun with such a huge amount of creativity and a complete love of the Spanish culture combined :) It is times like this we are allowed to step outside the box and create some fabulous and unconventional settings.
Throw in some sangria jugs, tie labels to them, look at the real surroundings of Andalucia and where you are getting married and use this theme to create the perfect Andalucian rustic wedding. Heaven! x

Stylish Beach Wedding in Marbella

What a fabulous surprise, as I sit here listening to the rain outside, I start to receive these fabulous photos from one of our most creative weddings of 2009.
It was a wonderful beach wedding on a very hot August evening here in Marbella and was photographed by Gypsy Westwood from Ibiza, so I could not nag her afterwards as I do with most of the photographers based here in Spain!

Jules, our lovely bride and now a good friend, has emailed me her photos tonight of the wedding with all the fabulous beach details we created, including the fish bowls, which were her idea, as I have a fish phobia!!! I could not even have them in my car when we travelled to the wedding, they had to be in another vehicle!!

The wedding was held in the beautiful La Virginia church, followed by a tapas and cocktail at La Virginia, then all the guests piled down to the beach for the reception.

We used silver starfish for decorations on napkins and table name cards, sea shells scattered on the tables, decorated the beach with a chill out area and lots of lantern bags and candles.

More of this wedding tomorrow as Jules is still sending me over some fabulous images and I have to go to bed! x
